Vehicle Clearance Certificate

Changed your engine or chassis number? Recovered your stolen vehicle?

Everyone knows how bad vehicle theft in South Africa is. It is a serious issue not only affecting the persons whose vehicles were stolen but also for individuals getting their vehicles impounded or having insurance claims rejected. This is why government has a database for vehicles and their chassis and VIN numbers. If one wants to change an aspect of their vehicle which will alter the chassis or VIN numbers then these changers need to be cleared by getting a police clearance.
